This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines the rules for using JoltSMS — including our marketing site (joltsms.com), user dashboard (app.joltsms.com), developer REST APIs, Model Context Protocol (MCP) server integration, and all connected notification endpoints (Slack, Discord, Telegram, email, and webhooks) (collectively, the “Services”).
This Policy is designed to protect our platform infrastructure, our users, our upstream wireless carrier partners, and the broader telecommunications ecosystem from fraud and programmatic abuse. By accessing the Services, you agree to follow these rules.
🚫1. Absolute Zero-Tolerance & Immediate Enforcement
⚠️ Zero Tolerance
If we discover or are formally notified that your account is involved in wire fraud, identity theft, financial crime, child exploitation, or terrorism, we will take immediate action without warning.
- Immediate Account Termination: We will instantly terminate your account, destroy active login sessions, and permanently revoke all rented numbers.
- Forfeiture of Fees: Any remaining subscription time, account balances, or pending line allocations are completely forfeited. Accounts terminated for AUP violations are completely ineligible for refunds.
- Legal Escalation: We reserve the right to preserve connected database records and report fraudulent or unlawful actions directly to federal or state law enforcement authorities.
👥2. Responsibility for Your Workspace and Automation
You are exclusively liable for all automated actions and data traffic crossing your account profile. This includes:
- Team Operations: Any actions executed by teammates, contractors, or external operators you invite to your shared number workspaces using our role-based access modules (
OWNER,MANAGER,VIEWER). - Programmatic Keys: Any numbers provisioned, messages polled, or verification data processed by headless
jolt_sk_*API keys or custom AI integrations utilizing our distributed MCP server configuration. - Endpoint Security: Securing your local webhook URLs, private encryption secrets, and third-party workspace tokens. If you grant a third-party app or an autonomous LLM agent access to your data streams, you assume all liability for their compliance behavior.
⚡3. Infrastructure Integrity & Hard Coding Limits
You are strictly prohibited from attempting to bypass system controls, evade rate limits, reverse engineer backend systems, or overwhelm our data layers. Our network interfaces enforce strict, code-level rate limits. Any script or automated software that deliberately attempts to circumvent the hard limits outlined below will be flagged as platform abuse and face immediate suspension:
| Platform Interface Boundary | Enforced Rate Limit | System Action on Abuse |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard Browser Sessions | Maximum 100 requests per minute. | Automated temporary IP throttling blocks. |
Developer API Keys (jolt_sk_*) | Maximum 120 requests per minute. | Programmatic 429 Too Many Requests API block errors. |
| Notification Dispatch Delivery | Maximum 5 requests per second per individual endpoint. | Token-bucket traffic queue restriction and delayed buffering. |
| Subscription Creation Velocity | Global default cap of 10 line acquisitions per day (restricted to 5 per day for accounts younger than 14 days). | Hard gate lockout (requires manual override by our engineering team — high-volume customers can contact support for a higher cap). |
Prohibited Account Cycling
You may not utilize automated scripts or group “sockpuppet” profiles to cycle through multiple registrations or repeatedly cancel and purchase subscription lines to game regional inventory systems or evade billing requirements.
📈5. Spam, Evasion Campaigns, and Account Farming Workflow Bans
Although JoltSMS operates as an inbound-only SMS text aggregation gateway, you are programmatically barred from utilizing our lines to catch, coordinate, or validate outbound spam operations.
Prohibited Operations
- Reply-Catching Campaigns: Using your Dedicated Number allocations as passive reply targets for massive marketing spam or phishing links distributed through third-party carriers or networks.
- Mass Account Farming Markets: Operating bulk automated registration scripts to create, “age,” or traffic bulk verified accounts on external social apps, messaging hubs, or marketplace environments for commercial resale.
- Verification Bombing: Initiating automated registration scripts to intentionally flood a target telephone number or third-party service with verification tokens (OTP bombing) to harass an individual or degrade an application’s performance.
📡6. High-Risk Industry Limitations (Carrier Network Controls)
To preserve our direct routing links with upstream mobile carrier networks and maintain peak delivery performance across our real-SIM pools, we enforce strict limitations matching wireless industry compliance frameworks.
You may not use our phone lines for “SHAFT” categories or financial-risk operations:
- Sexually explicit or adult-oriented materials (escort architectures, adult entertainment verification).
- Hate speech, discriminatory templates, or promotions of violence.
- Alcohol distribution loops or unverified liquor sales tracking.
- Firearms, combat weapons, ammunition tracking, or explosives promotion.
- Tobacco, nicotine vaping hardware, or cannabis distribution registries.
- Financial Risk & Lending Scams: Debt collection systems, high-interest payday lending, speculative multi-level marketing (MLM) pyramid structures, or deceptive “get rich quick” campaigns.
📦7. Resale, White-Labeling, and Public Inbox Restrictions
Unless you maintain a distinct, signed enterprise custom reseller agreement with Reliable Channel LLC, your subscription provides a single-tenant organizational license to utilize the platform:
- No Bureau or Public Pooling Use: You may not white-label our dashboard, resell our Dedicated Numbers directly to unaffiliated consumers, or provide public access to your dashboard inboxes or webhook arrays via open web portals.
- No Commercial Sub-Leasing: Rented lines are intended strictly for your direct employee or developer infrastructure workflows; you may not rent or lease individual lines out to unrelated third parties for sub-profit commercial gain.
🏛️8. Disputes & Texas Governance
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Any technical dispute, infrastructure challenge, or enforcement conflict stemming from an AUP suspension or termination will be handled exclusively via binding individual arbitration in Tarrant County, Texas, under the Federal Arbitration Act.
⚠️ Class Action Waiver
YOU WAIVE ALL COLLECTIVE RIGHTS TO JOIN OR PARTICIPATE AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR GROUP LEGAL ACTION DISTRIBUTED AGAINST RELIABLE CHANNEL LLC.
✉️9. Reporting Abuse and Violations
If you detect that a JoltSMS line allocation is being used to coordinate a phishing campaign, execute harassment, or catch automated spam text replies, please report the operational logs to our infrastructure safety desk:
Email: [email protected]
Please include the specific phone number involved, timestamps, and unedited copies of the text payloads or phishing contexts so our network operators can isolate the account.
