Keep Your Booking.com Extranet Accessible — No Matter What
Booking.com requires a real phone number for every Extranet login from a new device or browser. If that number goes dark — staff turnover, new phone, international travel — your access to reservations, guest communications, and payments stops. A dedicated JoltSMS real-SIM number stays permanently online.
- Receive Booking.com Extranet PIN codes in a shared team inbox
- Non-VoIP, real-SIM US number — not tied to any single employee's device
- Permanent rental: the number stays the same when staff turn over or you get a new phone
- Slack, Discord, Telegram, Email, and Webhook notifications so the right person always sees the code

Why Booking.com Extranet Access Breaks
Booking.com enforces mandatory two-factor authentication on every partner Extranet account. Every login from a new browser or device triggers a PIN code sent by SMS to the registered phone number. That design creates hard access-continuity risks:
- •Staff turnover: The team member who originally registered their personal mobile leaves the company. The phone number leaves with them. The remaining team is locked out of reservations, calendars, and payments — with no way in except calling Booking.com customer service from a number already on the Extranet.
- •Phone changes and carrier switches: Upgrading to a new phone or changing carriers often means a new number. Updating the Extranet registered number requires first verifying the old number — which you no longer have.
- •International travel without US roaming: Property managers who travel internationally and lose US roaming discover their SMS codes no longer arrive, blocking Extranet logins at critical moments.
- •Multi-property management: Each property ID in the Extranet has its own contact details. Managers running five, ten, or fifty listings need a consistent phone number per listing — not a patchwork of personal mobiles.
Note: Booking.com updates their security systems frequently. We can't guarantee acceptance of any specific number in every scenario.
Bypass Booking.com Extranet access blocks with Real SIMs
JoltSMS uses real carrier-backed SIM cards on T-Mobile and AT&T networks — not cloud-based VoIP. Booking.com's SMS gateway routes to these the same way it routes to a normal cell phone.
- Physical SIMs: real carrier-backed numbers behave like normal cell phones for SMS delivery
- Not tied to any one person: the number belongs to your JoltSMS account, not the phone in someone's pocket
- Re-verify capable: keep the number month after month — the same number is still waiting when Booking.com triggers a PIN check six months from now
- Team inbox: share Extranet access across your whole property management team with role-based access control

Who uses JoltSMS for Booking.com?
Multi-property operations team
A management company running 10–50 Booking.com listings needs Extranet access for a rotating team of staff. Tying the 2FA number to any one employee's personal phone is a liability. A JoltSMS number belongs to the company, not the individual — staff turnover becomes a routine HR event, not an Extranet lockout.
Solo host protecting against lockout
A single-property host using their personal mobile for Booking.com 2FA faces a hard problem: get a new phone, change carriers, or lose roaming while traveling and your Extranet becomes inaccessible at exactly the wrong time. A dedicated JoltSMS number provides a stable, always-on alternative.
Agency managing client accounts
Agencies that manage Booking.com accounts on behalf of property owner clients need a dedicated business number per account — completely separate from any employee's personal phone, accessible to the whole team via shared inbox and API.

What to Know About Booking.com Verification
Not affiliated with Booking.com. JoltSMS provides phone numbers for legitimate account verification. Booking.com may update their SMS delivery or 2FA systems at any time.
Best practices:
- No guarantees: JoltSMS cannot guarantee Booking.com will accept any specific number in every scenario
- US numbers only: JoltSMS provides US-based real-SIM numbers — Booking.com accepts these for US-based properties and many international partners, but local requirements may vary
- Inbound only: JoltSMS receives SMS; it does not place calls or send outbound messages — Booking.com may occasionally use voice call fallback, which JoltSMS does not support
- Keep the rental active: cancelling your JoltSMS subscription releases the number; any future Booking.com login that triggers a PIN to that number will fail
- Pulse app is separate: JoltSMS covers the SMS path; the Booking.com Pulse app is a separate authentication method tied to a personal device
Booking.com verification FAQ
Booking.com does not publish a blanket VoIP rejection policy with an explicit error message the way some platforms do. However, their documentation requires that the phone number "connect directly to you or someone on your team" and warns against "robotic answering systems." In practice, shared VoIP pools and many virtual number services are unreliable for Booking.com verification — third-party SMS platforms do not list Booking.com as a reliably supported platform. JoltSMS provides real-SIM numbers on established US carrier networks (T-Mobile/AT&T), which behave like normal cell phones for SMS delivery purposes.
